HRD received the delegation of special envoys of the EU and EU member states on Eastern Partnership issues

On November 15, RA human rights defender Kristinne Grigoryan received the delegation of special envoys of the EU and EU member states on Eastern Partnership issues, who were accompanied by the head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Viktorin and Ambassador of Poland to Armenia Pawel Czeplak.

During the meeting, Grigoryan presented the mandate, powers, and priority directions of the Pashpan institution.
Grigoryan answered the questions of the members of the delegation and talked about the challenges of the year, the current situation, and priorities. The defender referred to the consequences of the September Azerbaijani aggression and the rallies of April-May. Grigoryan also spoke about the issues of ensuring equality, fighting hate speech, empowering women, and fighting violence in the family.
The delegation members thanked the Defender's institution for the work done.

At the end of the meeting, he handed over the extraordinary reports prepared by the institution of the Defender to the members of the Defender's delegation.
