Alen Simonyan considered the transit visa requirement for RA citizens at Polish airports to be a concern
On November 9, RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan received the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations and European Union Affairs of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Bogdan Klich.
The Speaker of the National Assembly referred to the large-scale aggression provoked by Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia on September 13 and its consequences. In this context, the decision of the European Union to send 40 civilian observers to the borders of Armenia was singled out.
There was also a reference to the transit visa requirement for RA citizens at Polish airports, which came into force on August 1, 2022. Alen Simonyan considered it worrisome, adding that it contradicts the idea of visa liberalization, creating additional obstacles for the free movement of RA citizens. The Speaker of the National Assembly expressed hope that this decision will be reviewed.
