The establishment of each other's permanent diplomatic missions in Armenia and Austria was emphasized
The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, had a meeting with the Federal President of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Van Der Bellen, within the framework of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Welcoming the Austrian official, President Khachaturyan emphasized that an appreciable tradition of political dialogue has been formed between Austria and Armenia, which is the best precondition for developing a multi-sector partnership.
The President of the Republic highlighted Austria's efforts and willingness to support the establishment of peace in the region. According to the president, political dialogue is integral to the bilateral agenda. Armenia attaches importance to contacts at different levels with Austria and the need to establish permanent diplomatic representations in both countries.
Both sides emphasized the importance of the possible quick settlement of conflicts and establishing long-lasting and stable peace.
