The Asian Development Bank delegation visited the newly constructed Sisian-Kajaran section
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) delegation, accompanied by Gor Avetisyan, Executive Director of the "Road Department" Foundation, and Artur Sanoyan, Head of the North-South Road Corridor Tranche-4 Project, visited the Sisian-Kajaran section of Tranche-4.
The representatives of the bank, led by Nianshan Zhang, Deputy Director General of ADB's Central and Western Asia Department, familiarized themselves with the outline of the newly constructed Sisian-Kajaran road section of about 60 km, the technical parameters of the road defined by the project, and talked with the residents of nearby settlements.
It should be noted that the new Sisian-Kajaran 60 km road of the 2nd technical level, which will pass through complex mountainous terrain, will include 27 bridges with a total length of 4.7 km and nine tunnels with a full distance of 12.5 km (the longest is the Bargushat tunnel, about 8.6 km long). :
