On November 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, received the head of the EU observation capacity mission in Armenia, Marek Shchigiel, and the delegation members headed by him.
During the meeting, Minister Mirzoyan presented the security situation in the region after Azerbaijan's aggression against Armenia's territorial integrity and sovereignty on September 13-14, the positions of the Armenian side on the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
The head of the RA Foreign Ministry emphasized the deployment of the EU civilian mission in Armenia, expressing his belief that it will contribute to establishing stability and peace in the region.
Marek Shchigiel thanked the Armenian side for supporting the EU civil mission and presented the scope of their activities and upcoming work in Armenia.
The parties also discussed issues related to further cooperation.
