RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would increase human resources. According to Mirzoyan, "There is a question of resource increase shortly, and we should seriously deal with it. We should at least increase the number of our diplomats, that's for sure."

The minister also said that it is planned to open an embassy in Uruguay and a consulate general in Tabriz, Iran. "You know that our Iranian colleagues recently opened a consulate general in Kapan. There has been an agreement reached for a long time that we will also open in Tabriz." According to him, it is planned to open diplomatic offices in Cyprus and Serbia.
