The communication complexities and complications in the relations with Turkey have been overcome. Nikol Pashinyan
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about Armenian-Turkish relations while presenting the 2023 budget project in the National Assembly.
He says, "I have not verified whether such statistics have ever been recorded before, but at least this is not an ordinary statistic, and it deserves to be recorded. 2022 is exceptional in that the leader of RA had direct contacts with the leaders of all neighboring countries without exception: there were phone conversations and meetings."
In this context, Pashinyan spoke about the prospect of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations. He says, "I consider the telephone conversation and meeting with the head of Turkey significant this year."
Pashinyan noted that the communication complexities and complications in relations with Turkey had been overcome. He says, "This is a significant change, and it is necessary to advance the peace agenda."
