The head of the Prime Minister's Office, Arayik Harutyunyan, stated in a briefing with journalists that the democratic processes in RA had reached the level where we no longer have the danger of establishing the power of one person.
Referring to the election of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan as the chairman of the KP Department, he noted that "this is a very accepted way all over the world, in very few countries it is different, in terms of the development of the parliamentary government system, this was an important step."
He spoke about the elections of the KP board, stressing that "the people who were chosen by the party delegates were elected to the board; the whole process was broadcast live in front of everyone's eyes. This is the most democratic party in Armenia, with its internal and external processes."
Araik Harutyunyan also referred to the possibility of a harsh response from the Armenian side to Lukashenko's latest statements. He says, "This is not a boxing match where there are hard and soft answers, we have a strategy, and we act according to it."
