Nikol Pashinyan invited Raisi to visit Yerevan to continue negotiations
At the joint press conference of the leaders of Armenia and Iran in Tehran, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciated the attitude of President Raisi towards the Armenian community of Iran.
"Iran can be a clear and open symbol of peaceful cooperation and coexistence of followers of different religions," said Nikol Pashinyan.
Evaluating Iran's principled view on peace and security in the Caucasus region, Pashinyan said. "I informed Mr. Raisi about the tripartite meeting held in Sochi, and I agree with the views of the Iranian president regarding the establishment of stable peace and security in the region."
The Prime Minister announced that the ministers of Iran and Armenia signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the extension of the electricity and gas contract. "Some discussions took place in energy and agriculture, infrastructure, and water resources management."
Nikol Pashinyan invited the President of Iran to Yerevan to continue the negotiations.
