Russia does not stop its efforts to settle the problems in the South Caucasus. Kopirkin

Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin stated in a briefing with journalists that Russia is not stopping its efforts to resolve the problems in the South Caucasus.

Referring to the tripartite meeting in Sochi, Ambassador Kopirkin emphasized that the duration of the session already speaks of the fact that there was a discussion of many substantive issues. "The fact of the meeting held in Sochi is significant. How long it lasted, how they prepared for it, testify to the fact that a substantive discussion of all the most complex settlement issues took place."

Kopirkin also reminded Russian President Vladimir Putin's statements. "As our president said, not all issues were agreed upon, but the fact that the discussion took place and the parties expressed their willingness to move forward on the path of settlement is important."

According to him, comprehensive regulation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a priority for Russia.
