Let's not face the "rake" of the "rescue committee" complex again. Vahram Atanesyan

The interlocutor of Radar Armenia is Vahram Atanesyan, a former deputy of the NKR National Assembly analyst.

- How do you evaluate the announcement of the National Assembly of Artsakh and the subsequent rally?

- I have already had to say that instead of a rally, NA session, and announcement, Stepanakert could have worked on the version of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement agreement, article by article, and presented it to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, the European Union, the OSCE, the USA., and France. It would be more practical and effective.

- To what extent do you consider the voiced demands to be realized, taking into account the created situation, and, in general, what consequences can the incident have on the negotiation process and the future fate of Artsakh?

- There can be no one-sided demand in politics. Some positions are discussed and reconciled to find a mutually acceptable solution.

- If they are not feasible, why are such statements made?

- To what extent are the approaches outlined in the Artsakh NA statement feasible? As I said, it will be clear when they are formulated as articles of the supposed Armenian-Azerbaijani treaty and put on the negotiation table. As far as it is considered, Stepanakert is not ready for it yet at this stage.

- Comparisons are often made with 88. Do you see the edges of such comparisons?

-88 is a starting point, a starting point, so to speak, a zero point. In 1988, there was the USSR, and we expected a legal solution from its supreme authority. Today it is an entirely different reality. There is no comparison.

- Against the background of the rally in Artsakh, the RA opposition is active again. How will you interpret it?

- It is impossible to interpret a phenomenon that does not lend itself to logic. Let's record the fact together and wait. May God trust us so we don't face the "rake" of the "rescue committee" complex again.
