I am ready to sign a document in Sochi. Nikol Pashinyan

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in his speech at the Communist Party Congress, referred to the tripartite meeting to be held in Sochi at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Pashinyan said, "I am ready to sign a document in Sochi and accept that the presence of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh will be unconditionally extended for 10-15-20 years." Pashinyan also suggested that the President of the Russian Federation should come up with such a proposal, or if he makes such a proposal, the Russian Federation should support that proposal. "But I can't decide that instead of Russia, the peacekeepers stay there indefinitely."

Pashinyan also asked whether the other side should know what the Russian peacekeepers were doing in Nagorno-Karabakh. In this context, he referred to the cases of Parukh, stressing that "We have not forgotten the cases of Parikh. It was agreed at a high level that the Azerbaijanis should get out of the responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers. That promise and commitment have not been fulfilled so far."
