On October 28, deputies of the French National Assembly, accompanied by the head of the RA NA Armenia-France friendship group Vladimir Vardanyan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex.
Legislators laid flowers at the immortal fire commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide and silently honored the memory of the Holy Martyrs.
The French parliamentarians also visited the Museum-Institute of the Armenian Genocide, got acquainted with the exhibits documenting the Genocide and made a note in the memorial book of the honored guests, noting: "We must remember the past so that such a tragedy does not happen again. France will always be by Armenia's side."
