47 PACE deputies made a statement condemning Azerbaijan's aggression

47 PACE deputies issued a written statement condemning Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia. NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

The announcement calls on Azerbaijan to immediately withdraw its troops from the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia and release all prisoners of war.

The statement mentions that Azerbaijan has densely targeted civilian infrastructures, causing hundreds of casualties, including civilians.

"It is terrible there; there is evidence of torture, and mutilation of captured and dead soldiers, including women. We strongly condemn Azerbaijan's aggression, which violates the UN Charter, the Helsinki Final Act, international humanitarian law, and Azerbaijan's statutory, conventional, and membership obligations to the Council of Europe," the statement said.

Representatives of France, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Norway, Iceland, Austria, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Latvia, Sweden, and Switzerland are among the deputies who signed the statement.
