It is essential to support the new initiative. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway

Norway's Foreign Minister Anniken Hütfeldt answered the question about possible Western support to Armenia against Azerbaijani aggression.

Radar Armenia asked the minister: "The previously operating security capabilities in the South Caucasus have been significantly disrupted, which has created immediate risks for Armenia, whose territorial integrity is violated by Azerbaijan. Does the West have real and practical mechanisms by which it can support Armenia against Azerbaijani aggression? I mean, apart from appeals and statements, which, as experience shows, do not always affect Baku, is there another toolkit and the willingness to use it?"

In response, Heutfeldt said: "A country like Norway prefers to cooperate within the framework of organizations like the OSCE and the United Nations, so the important direction for discussing these issues is the Council of Europe. As a critical issue, we raised it on September 15 this year. Norway is not a member of the EU, but it is very active in the OSCE and the Minsk Group framework. We are pleased about the positive involvement that the co-chairs of the USA and France are showing. Therefore, we are ready, and it is important to support the new initiative. We support the proposals related to resolving the conflict in the OSCE, which were submitted to the OSCE for evaluation."
