CSTO has decided to send a preliminary observation or fact-finding mission

RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the CSTO decided to send a preliminary observation or fact-finding mission based on Armenia's application.

He states, "Those officials came, prepared a report based on their records, and it was presented to all member states. The Secretariat circulated a draft decision based on it. Through oral discussions, we tried to understand when the meeting of the CSTO Council can take place, where the leaders of the countries can also discuss the mission of the new observation mission. We are at this stage; there is no decision or discussions. A board meeting is due.

Here, the political assessment of the situation, which our allied states will present, is extremely important for us. First, we need to understand how much the organization recognizes the existing problem. And that is an aggression against Armenia and an invasion of the sovereign territory of Armenia."
