A joint session of the Constitutional Reforms Council and the Commission was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Justice, Grigor Minasyan, whose agenda included issues related to the improvement of the procedure for selecting judges of the RA Court of Cassation, the reinterpretation of the RA President's Institute, and the revision of the citizenship and tenure censors established by the Constitution for state positions. as well as other procedural matters.
During the session, the members of the professional commission presented a package of recommendations for revising the mandatory requirements of being a citizen of the Republic of Armenia and permanent residence in the Republic of Armenia, defined by the Constitution for public positions. Several issues related to the scope of the President's powers have discussed the functions of the President. Ideas were exchanged in the matters presented, and suggestions and opinions were voiced.
