The presence of artillery in Vardenis is connected with the movement of additional forces and means by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces

RA Ministry of Defense issued a message: "The presence of artillery means in the direction of Vardenis is directly related to the movement and release of additional forces and resources by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which caused a certain tension.
The steps of the Armenian side, which were carried out after the deployment of additional Azerbaijani artillery and anti-aircraft means in the given zone, are exclusively defensive.
The actions of the Armenian side do not aim to strain the situation. If the Azerbaijani side withdraws the mentioned means from the given direction, the Armenian side will also start its additional funds. The Armenian side is ready to negotiate on this issue."
