On October 14, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan received the delegation of the Swiss National Council, which included parliamentarians Stefan Muller-Altermatt, Michel Mater, and Secretary General of the Switzerland-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Sargis Shahinyan.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcoming the visit of the delegation of Swiss parliamentarians to Armenia during this period, thanked Armenia and the Armenian people for their solidarity. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized their contribution to developing Armenian-Swiss relations.
The interlocutors discussed several issues related to Armenian-Swiss relations, including parliamentary cooperation.
Regional security and peace issues were also discussed at the meeting. Paruyr Hovhannisyan presented to the Swiss parliamentarians the situation created due to the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan on the sovereign territory of Armenia.
