The Armenian population living in Nagorno Karabakh should have the right to self-determination. Member of the Swiss Parliament
Stephan Müller-Altermatt, a member of the Swiss parliament, stated in the RA NA that the people of Nagorno-Karabakh should not be allowed to be under the rule of Azerbaijan.
"The right to self-determination is a critical point from the point of view of human rights. We see a problem with human existence, and it is under threat. The international community has ignored the political solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. A political solution should be found rather than resorting to the aid of weapons, which will lead to a new genocide, but Azerbaijan rejects this, and we are fighting against it. There has been an atmosphere of ethnic intolerance against Armenians for years. And the people of Nagorno-Karabakh should not be allowed to be under the rule of Azerbaijan. It is impossible: And this should be clear for all parties," said Stefan Müller-Altermatt.
