The people of Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to protect their existential existence. Vladimir Vardanyan

Vladimir Vardanyan, a permanent member of the RA NA delegation to the PACE, made a speech at the PACE autumn session, noting:

"Thank you, Madam President,

Thank you, dear colleagues.

I want to thank all those political groups supporting and representing reality.

I want to address the issues raised by Mr. Samad Seidov. Mr. Seidov, you play a very complex role. You can't even imagine how well I understand you, how hard it is to protect evil for years. Anyway, it's your choice, but this organization is an organization of values, so let's talk about matters because it's essential when we talk about commitments.

Mr. Seidov, when Armenia and Azerbaijan became members of this esteemed organization, we undertook to refrain from using force or the threat of force in solving political problems. However, this happened in 2020, and no one responded. We knew this day would come. Today, fortunately, most of you understand what is going on there.

When Mr. Samad Seidov talks about the presence of Armenian forces in Azerbaijan, I want to say that it is a complete lie. The people of Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to protect their existential existence.

Look at what is happening: dismemberment, humiliation, intentional killing. We have the right to self-defense, and they are trying to exercise that right."
