A few days ago, a photo of a document regarding the USA-Armenia-Azerbaijan trilateral negotiations was spread on the Internet, where the main provisions of the talks were presented point by point, both regarding the conclusion of the peace treaty and the contacts between the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and the Azerbaijani authorities, as well as the opening of transport routes and communications.
In this regard, Radar Armenia sent a request to the US Embassy in Armenia, asking if the document circulating on the Internet is the one on the negotiation table.
The embassy responded that they would refrain from commenting on the content, noting that the negotiations are aimed at peace and a better future.
"While refraining from commenting on the content or discussing private diplomatic communications, it is important to remember that negotiations are dynamic processes. They do not take place on social platforms. Negotiations are conducted face-to-face between leaders pursuing peace and a better future for their people. For this reason, we have continuously encouraged the leaders of both sides to meet and will continue to do so in pursuit of a comprehensive peace process that is win-win for the region and its peoples.”
