On October 10, the RA human rights defender met the French co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group, Brice Roquefeuil. During the meeting, the Defender presented the consequences of the attack on Armenia by the Azerbaijan armed forces, referring to the gross and ongoing violations of international humanitarian law and human rights.
In her speech, the Defender presented the cases of torture and inhumane and humiliating treatment of Armenian service members, particularly women, by the Azerbaijani armed forces and forwarded the non-public report by the Defender's institution confirming these facts.
In his speech, Mr. Rockvoy emphasized the work carried out by the Defender's institution and expressed his willingness to continue cooperation.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Anne Louyot was also present at the meeting.
