A historical record of tax revenue collection was registered in Armenia
In an interview with Public TV, SRC President Rustam Badasyan stated that a historical record of tax revenue collection was recorded in 9 months of this year.
He says, "Tax revenues of the state budget amounted to 1 trillion 412 billion drams, tax revenues exceeded by more than 77 billion drams."
2021 compared to the same period, the amount collected is more by about 275 billion drams or by 24.2%.
During the 9 months of the current year, a record amount of 172 billion drams was returned to taxpayers.
Badasyan also noted that it is planned to have 11 percent economic growth and 8 percent inflation in the current year, and the tax-GDP ratio will improve by 0.5 percentage points and 23.2 percent. "This means that tax revenues are growing faster than GDP, which, other things being equal, is attributed to the improvement of tax administration and tax discipline," he said.
