Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on its Twitter page that the idea of initiating an EU observation mission on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is coming to life.
"It was voiced for the first time by the trio of Foreign Ministers of Austria, Lithuania, and Romania, delegated by the EU, during their visit to the South Caucasus last June.
If it is long-lasting, the initiative will become a significant step toward sustainable peace in the region," the statement said.
