RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan confirmed that after the Geneva meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, the elements of the peace treaty were transferred to the Armenian side, based on the five principles previously assigned. According to Ararat Mirzoyan. "The five well-known principles that Azerbaijan conveyed in mid-March have been published; our society and the international community are well aware of those principles. We have publicly stated that there is nothing unacceptable. This time, the proposals forwarded by the Azerbaijani side are based on these principles. Of course, there are things that we are still analyzing, and we will respond. There will be things that will be acceptable to us; there will be things that will not be acceptable. There will be proposals that we will make, and the normal negotiation process will continue."
Mirzoyan detailed that the central part of the ideas of the Armenian side refers to Nagorno-Karabakh. "Addressing this issue is still part of the negotiations."
Ararat Mirzoyan elaborated that there is a point of view that an international mechanism of Baku-Stepanakert dialogue should be created. "Discussions are going on about this. When we have one position, Azerbaijan has another. When we reach a mutually acceptable position and point of view, we will inform you."
