The commission of inquiry received more than 10,000 documents from the Ministry of Defense regarding the 44-day war.

The issue of extending the period of activity of the investigative commission studying the circumstances of the 44-day war was discussed in the National Assembly. The chairman of the commission Andranik Kocharyan presented the work done by the commission in the last six months, informing that a list of critical documents consisting of 16 items was presented to the Ministry of Defense, "The Ministry of Defense has formed a part of the package of required documents for about two months and gave it to the commission for study. It includes approximately 3,500 samples of operational-level text and graphic documents with more than 10,000 pages.

According to him, these documents are thoroughly studied in the commission, resulting in a need to receive many other new papers and data arising from or related to the Ministry of Defense and other government agencies.

Kocharyan said the commission is currently studying the mentioned documents and comparing information. Based on that, it will be possible to compile the list of persons subject to examination by the commission, "The commission has compiled the list of invitees, although I would like to inform you that we have already sent letters to two invitees. Mr. Vardan Oskanyan expressed his displeasure remotely, which in no way reflects the need to not participate in the commission's work."
