"It worries us a lot." The Secretary of the Security Council on the sale of weapons by Russia to Azerbaijan
Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, referred to the Azerbaijani military aggression in an interview given to the "Fox News" television company in the USA.
Grigoryan said that the international community should condemn the use of force by Azerbaijan and call for the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from the sovereign territory of Armenia. In that regard, he highly appreciated the more direct evaluations by the US. "The international community must take action, as the United States is doing. The United States was obvious in its wording. He called on Azerbaijan to withdraw its troops from the sovereign territory of Armenia. We believe the international community should condemn the use of force by Azerbaijan, and the international community should support the diplomatic process."
He spoke about the issue of arms sales by Russia to Azerbaijan, noting: "It is public information. Yes, that's right. And that worries us a lot. It is not a new thing.'
