RA highly appreciates Germany's consistent support for the ongoing democratic reforms
The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on National Day.
President Khachaturyan's address states explicitly: "32 years ago, the people of Germany implemented the right to self-determination, peacefully beginning the reunification of Germany and thereby opening a new page in the history of world politics and international relations.
Today, the Federal Republic of Germany is a shining example of preserving democracy and universal values and has an essential contribution to overcoming humanity's challenges.
Armenia values the efforts made to strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation formed with Germany.
We highly appreciate Germany's consistent support for the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, especially in the current period full of complex and multifaceted challenges."
