On October 2, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in Geneva on a working visit, met with the US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Senior Advisor on Caucasus Negotiations Philip Ricker.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the details of Azerbaijan's recent military aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia. It emphasized the importance of taking clear steps by international partners in eliminating its consequences and preventing new aggressions, including the introduction of international mechanisms.
Referring to the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with particular brutality, the videos of which are widely distributed by the Azerbaijani side on social networks, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that the Armenian side will make every effort to bring the culprits to justice.
During the meeting, the interlocutors touched on several issues related to regional security and stability, exchanged ideas on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh problem.
