The Prime Minister welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia and reminded it that he was on a working visit to France on September 26, evidence of unique bilateral relations. Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that the dynamics of mutual visits will contribute to the further development and deepening of Armenian-French interaction. The prime minister also emphasized close inter-parliamentary contacts, essential for government cooperation. According to Nikol Pashinyan, we live in difficult geopolitical times; in this context, he noted the need to maintain close and effective bilateral relations.
Gilbert-Luc Devinaz appreciated the bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation and noted that within the visit, they received detailed information on the consequences of the aggression undertaken by Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. Mr. Dervinaz noted that they carefully followed the statements of the President of France and the Prime Minister of Armenia on September 26 and emphasized that the French side addressed the side that used aggression.
The Prime Minister referred to the discussions with Emmanuel Macron and emphasized the critical role of France in the works aimed at overcoming the consequences of the aggression applied to Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of sending the international observation mission to the regions affected by the Azerbaijani occupation and the border zone. This will help the international community receive direct and not mediated information.
