RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan addressed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart.
Mirzoyan reminded me that on this day, Azerbaijan unleashed large-scale aggression against Nagorno Karabakh and its people two years ago.
According to the minister. "After two years, the problem remains unresolved because the conflict's issues have not been settled.
I want to emphasize once again that, as responsible members of the international community, we reject the approach of solving problems through the use of force and the threat of force and reaffirm our commitment to establish peace and stability in the region through peaceful negotiations."
Mirzoyan also informed that he presented the consequences of the latest Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia to the Greek Foreign Minister. According to Ararat Mirzoyan. "We value the appropriate and adequate response of the international community to the passionate and criminal aspirations of Azerbaijan against stability and peace. Inadequate, equating responses between the aggressor and the target of aggression lead to new crimes."
Mirzoyan insisted that the consequences of Azerbaijani aggression should be eliminated. "First of all, the Azerbaijani armed forces must leave the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian prisoners of war must be returned, and the ceasefire regime must be fully preserved.
At the same time, the international community should prevent Azerbaijan's adventurous steps and possible new aggressions through clear actions and mechanisms.
