The Minister of Finance received the Armenian delegation of the International Monetary Fund
On September 26, Tigran Khachatryan met with the delegation headed by Iva Petrova, head of the Armenian International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission.
The meeting was attended by the deputy ministers of finance, the permanent representative of the IMF in Armenia, Mehdi Raissi, and economists of the IMF mission.
Minister Khachatryan, welcoming the guests, presented the latest economic developments, the current tax policy, and administration and also spoke about the implementation of the 2022 state budget.
Thanking for the reception, Iva Petrova emphasized the high partnership relations with the Ministry of Finance and reaffirmed her willingness to participate in all current programs.
The parties discussed various issues of mutual interest; in particular, they addressed topics related to the latest macroeconomic developments, capital expenditures, and tax policy.
At the end of the meeting, several agreements were reached to continue the discussions of the current programs in a working format shortly.
