On September 26, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia to the Republic of Armenia, Miroslav Hatsek, on the occasion of handing over a copy of his credentials.
The deputy minister congratulated Miroslav Hatsek as the first resident ambassador of Slovakia to Armenia, wishing him fruitful work during his mission. He also expressed his belief that the ambassador will contribute to further strengthening and deepening of relations between Armenia and Slovakia.
Within the framework of the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including cooperation within the framework of the EU. The parties expressed their readiness to make all efforts toward fully realizing the existing potential of bilateral cooperation. The possibility of holding political consultations was discussed.
Paruyr Hovhannisyan thoroughly presented the latest aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia, highlighting the international community's response in condemning Azerbaijani encroachments against Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
