The US Embassy in Armenia urged US citizens to avoid visiting some places in Armenia. This was due to the military operations on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on September 13-14 due to security reasons.
The places mentioned in the warning are Tavush region M4 highway north of Ijevan and to the eastern regions, Gegharkunik region east of Lake Sevan, Gegharkunik region south of Sevan Lake and east of the M10 highway, Yeraskh village of Ararat region, Vayots Dzor region east of Yeghegnadzor, Syunik region, and Mountainous Karabakh.
