US Secretary of State Anthony J. Blinken sent a message on the occasion of the Independence Day of Armenia, in which it said:
"On behalf of the United States of America, I send my best wishes to the people of Armenia on Independence Day.
After declaring its independence from the Soviet Union for more than 30 years, we have seen Armenia's commitment to democratic values, the development, and strengthening of human rights, the rule of law, the economy, and the sphere of justice in the country.
We are proud to cooperate with Armenia in these areas, which embody our shared values.
We will continue to support the democratic aspirations, sovereignty, and security of the people of Armenia.
We appreciate your willingness to support efforts to ensure more excellent regional stability.
We express our condolences for the loss of life in the recent attacks, and we are committed to working with you and the other parties to promote a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
