At the urgent session of the UN Security Council, the military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the territorial integrity of Armenia continues to be discussed.
Norway's representative expressed concern over reports of military operations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the shelling of citizens and civilian infrastructure on the territory of Armenia.
"The use of military force to resolve conflicts is unacceptable. Norway recognizes both countries' sovereignty and territorial integrity within their internationally recognized borders. We support the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan in 2020. by the statement of November 9," he said.
Norway's representative welcomed the US and the EU's efforts to support the negotiations progress. He called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to return to the negotiating table without preconditions.
