The US is ready to promote dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan
At the urgent session of the UN Security Council, the representative of the USA stated that the United States is deeply concerned about the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"We are also concerned that RA citizens suffered due to military operations. It is necessary to return to the negotiating table. The US firmly insists that there is no military solution to the issue of the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations," said the US representative.
He stressed that the international community should do everything possible to help achieve long-term peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan through diplomatic means.
"We express our readiness to promote the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan through coordinating the OSCE and partners to end the conflict diplomatically based on international law, including the UN Charter and the Helsinki Act," he noted.
