An expanded Security Council meeting was held under Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Besides the SC members, the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan, NA President Alen Simonyan, RA Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Arayik Harutyunyan, NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan, NA "Civil Contract” faction leader Hayk Konjoryan also participated in the session.
The situation created by Azerbaijan's aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia was discussed, as well as the steps to be implemented in the direction of the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia. Thoughts were exchanged about the current state of the Nagorno Karabakh settlement negotiation process.
The imperative of national solidarity and cohesion in the context of confronting external threats was emphasized.
