We strive for the military units to occupy the positions they had before the operations

Gurgen Arsenyan, deputy of the National Assembly "Civil Contract" faction, referred to the military conflict on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

He hoped the conversation would move around the tables, not from trench to trench. "Those partners who are aware of the processes are making efforts through their channels so that the fire situation returns to the conversational, negotiation stage."

In his opinion, stopping the fire is a primary issue. "We strive for the cessation of fire and for the military units of Armenia and Azerbaijan to occupy the positions they had before the operations."
