Please do not come to the hall; I am asking you as a citizen. Alen Simonyan to the opposition

Chairman of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, referred to the absence of the opposition "Hayastan" and "Pativ Unem" factions at today's session of the parliament. According to him, it is unclear what else needs to happen for the opposition to appear in the National Assembly.

"Will Armenia be conquered for good? Will we all die? What must happen for you to come to the hall? What is your plan beyond security? I want to understand. Or why did you come? I want to understand that too. What are you two doing here? We accept a statement about Azerbaijan; with the third point, you solve an internal political issue, the bankruptcy of the so-called peace era politics. Who cares? Are we talking about that now? You can talk about your bankruptcy for 30 decades. With the fourth point, you say to leave the negotiations with Azerbaijan. Seriously, should we go out? So what do we do? Let's go out. Are you two going to the border? It is a pity that even in this situation, you cannot serve the interests of the Republic of Armenia. There is no political issue here."

Simonyan reminded that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan came to the National Assembly and spoke about military operations on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The opposition says, "We have our agenda." "Don't come to the hall again; I'm not asking as the president of the National Assembly; I'm asking as a citizen of the Republic of Armenia. Are you coming? Who needs you? It is a pity that even in this situation, you cannot serve the interests of the Republic of Armenia. There is no political question here: "Kocharyan," "Serzhian," etc. What must happen for you to come? Don't come."
