Brussels is closely following the situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border area. Peter Stano

Brussels is closely monitoring the situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border region, stated the representative of the European Union's foreign political service, answering the question of "News" regarding the increase in tension along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the contact line in Artsakh and possible risks of destabilization of the situation by Azerbaijan.

"We call on the parties to refrain from such actions that could aggravate the situation and derail the ongoing settlement process, which the European Union strongly supports and remains committed to," said Peter Stano.
