The parliamentary opposition continues not participating in the NA activities that started today, arguing that the government does not serve the state's plan.
In a conversation with Radar Armenia, deputy of the NA "Civil Contract" faction Heriknaz Tigranyan said that it is the opposition's right to participate or not in the NA sessions. "I do not in any way refer to their presence or duty, and I leave it to the judgment of their voters."
Referring to the oppositionists' claims that the government does not serve the state's plan, Tigranyan responded: let the oppositionists come and present their plan that fits the state's interests. "Let them bring those secular laws up for discussion, convince the public that these are the most important issues."
According to her, the opposition's arguments are useless. "Look at the issues on our agenda. Which of them does not come from the interests of Armenia? Ultimately, do we want to build a normal, developing state and live our daily lives, or do they want to shock us constantly? I take their statements lightly. It's time for them to decide."
