There are 117 state-registered parties in Armenia. Radar Armenia learned about this from the RA Ministry of Justice.
It is noteworthy the fact that 42 of them were created or obtained state registration after the 2018 revolution.
When studying the list of newly formed parties, it becomes clear that some were made to participate in the 2021 NA extraordinary elections. Some freshly formed parties were developed to participate in local government elections. It "betrays" their name. Among such parties are, for example, "My powerful community" and "New Vanadzor" parties created in 2021.
"Amberd" nationalist, "My Struggle, My Homeland," "True Democratic," "All-Armenian National Statehood," "Armenian Constructive," and other parties stand out with their exciting names. And the last party that received state registration is "Moral Values," created on February 22.
In 1991, in newly independent Armenia, 11 parties had state registration.
