The opposition boycotting the NA works participates in the works of international delegations

MP Sona Ghazaryan of the ruling "Civil Contract” faction, commenting on the statements of the oppositionists not to return to the parliament in a conversation with Radar Armenia, noted that one of the opposition figures of the PACE delegation confirmed his participation in the autumn session. According to Ghazaryan, parliamentary activity is not a game and a dance where you can choose where to participate and where not.

"We received a mandate, within the framework of which we are obliged to fulfill our responsibilities; they also received a vote. Therefore, their electorate should follow up and understand that they do not make their voice and demands heard in the parliament. So, they are not effective; maybe they are lazy. They are completely pointless," said Ghazaryan.

To the question: it turns out that the parliamentary opposition does not participate in the work of the National Assembly but goes on business trips and outside the country. Does it still participate in parliamentary work? "According to my information, some of them are already being prepared. Maybe they like to travel; I can't comment."
