The "Hayastan” faction issued a statement stating that they would not participate in the sessions of the National Assembly and its committees.

The statement says: "Dear compatriots,

The one-year parliamentary activity experience has shown that the executive power and its associated parliamentary majority, violating the Constitution and laws, are disrupting the everyday work of the National Assembly.

Ignoring the most severe security threats, the current authorities are imposing agendas on the National Assembly unrelated to the immediate dangers facing Armenia and Artsakh. Furthermore, gross violations of the NA regulations by the CP, disregard of international standards for the conduct of sessions, and apparent abuses of majority powers delegitimize the activity of the parliament as a representative body with a primary mandate.

Under these circumstances, in the fight against the illegal parliamentary majority, we will continue to use the tool of political boycott accepted in international practice, that is, we will not participate in the sessions of the National Assembly and its commissions, which are often full of non-primary and artificial agendas.

As we have stated many times, our participation in parliamentary sessions is conditioned by the promotion of agendas that have received public support, namely:

- Security of Armenia and Artsakh,

- the dismissal of the authorities of the day

- approval of the national-state roadmap for strengthening the country.

In addition to the above, the mandate received by the people is to use the faction to organize hearings on topics of real public interest and resonance, the anti-national, anti-state initiatives of the current authorities, their inability to solve the socio-economic problems of the country, corruption phenomena, the permissiveness of the judicial system, violations of human rights and democracy. towards identifying and combating them.

Through its representatives, the faction will continue active contacts and work with our partners abroad and accredited diplomatic representations in Armenia, as well as evaluating their usefulness and effectiveness, it will participate in international meetings to protect the interests of our country, raise and condemn the crimes committed against the Armenian people. Other parliamentary instruments serving state and public agendas will also be used as needed.

At the same time, we will continue to carry out active activities outside the National Assembly in order to inform the public about the threats to our country, to ensure direct participation in political processes, to give new momentum to the "Resistance" movement, and to solve internal and external security political problems.

Dear compatriots,

We are convinced that the change of power is the necessary minimum condition, in which case it is only possible to solve the problems facing our country, overcome the challenges, close the page of defeat, and get out of this humiliated state. Armenia cannot present itself to the world with a face that is a symbol of defeat and shame. Only the new negotiator representing the interests of Armenia can ensure a real and dignified peace and lead our country on the path of development."
