There is no force more interested in uncovering the truth about war than the government

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the discovery of the circumstances of the 44-day war.

According to him: "I consider it extremely important that in the end, we all find the answer: why didn't it happen that way, why wasn't there another way out, even in the conditions of the currently limited opportunities? Were there any forces interested in the outcome of the war? They were not only interested but also wanted it to initiate political processes in Armenia and a change of power to take place. I'm not making a claim, but I want to say that now the facts are emerging, this issue is getting stronger for me."

Pashinyan expressed hope that the law enforcement officers will be objective enough to find the answer to these questions. "Some tried to create the impression that the government and I personally wanted to cover up the circumstances of the war. On the contrary, the government is interested in revealing the truth.

Do you remember when they said the government gave in to Shushi and sold it? A criminal case has been initiated, a person has been arrested in this regard, and now they are defending themselves. Now, who gave Shushi? I don't understand why they are supporting it. You were swinging swords before the war. Were you not interested in the truth? But only in the government elected by the people, to line up a few people under the wall, shoot them, and say: that's it, the topic is over? This thread won’t be over. That thread should be opened to the end. No force is more interested in uncovering the truth about war than the government.

After 2018, we spent vast amounts of money on the army, but now it turns out that even under our conditions, the funds given have not always reached where they should have. And why should we forgive anyone for this? There is no forgiveness for those people."
