Hovik Abrahamyan's son presented himself to the prosecutor's office
So far, only the son Argam Abrahamyan has appeared at the prosecutor's office in the case of confiscating illegal property from the family members of the former Speaker of the National Assembly, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan. Radar Armenia learned about this from the RA General Prosecutor's Office.
"Argam Abrahamyan presented himself at the prosecutor's office and received the materials; the other family members have not yet. It is expected that they will also use their right," the prosecutor's office said.
It should be noted that a study was conducted in the RA General Prosecutor's Office's Department of Illegal Property Confiscation Cases, resulting in a summary. Abrahamyan and his relatives were invited to give clarifications and express their position. 13 persons related to Abrahamyan, including his wife, daughter, son Argam Abrahamyan, daughter-in-law Emma Tsarukyan, the daughter of PAP chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, were summoned to the prosecution. Former deputy mayor of Artashat Gagik Poghosyan, head of Abrahamyan's bodyguard Bagratuni Barseghyan, and driver Grigor Gevorgyan was also called to the prosecutor's office.
The property belonging to Abrahamyan and his relatives was confiscated as part of the criminal case of illegal property discovery.
