Armenia has been invited to the Eastern Economic Forum for a long time.

Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, announced that the agreement on the participation of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Eastern Economic Forum was reached with the Armenian side long ago.

Answering the question of whether Azerbaijan was invited to that conference, Peskov gave a negative answer: "No. An extended agreement was reached with the Armenian side for Mr. Pashinyan to come to the forum, especially since our Armenian partners were not in those regions.

Peskov noted, "those who arrived in the negotiation groups were delighted with what they saw."
