The parliamentary opposition will make a statement about returning to the National Assembly shortly

For two days now, the NA standing committees have been convening sessions, but the representatives of the parliamentary opposition are not participating in them. Yesterday, the chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security, Andranik Kocharyan, said that the opposition partners were still absent. Heriknaz Tigranyan drew attention to this circumstance at the Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs session.

In a conversation with Radar Armenia, Gegham Nazaryan, deputy of the NA opposition faction "Hayastan," referring to the comments regarding their non-participation in the sessions, said: "When the opposition initiates an extraordinary session, they do not participate, they boycott, and so do we."

When asked whether the parliamentary opposition will eventually go to the parliament in September, or if it does, with what agenda, Nazaryan said there would be an announcement about it soon. "The unified point of view of the faction will be announced, and then the public will be informed. It will be until September 12."

Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the "Pativ Unemr" faction, said the section would state this in the next few days.

"As of now, we have said more than before; I have nothing to add," Mamijanyan said.
